H.Stein – Your Goldsmith on the Idar-Oberstein Market Square

The goldsmith Hagen Stein is carrying on a gold working tradition now in its tenth generation. He shares his fascination for gemstones with his wife Stefanie Dingle, who is also a master goldsmith and jewellery designer. Together, they run the jewellery shop H.Stein which is located on the market square in the district of Oberstein. Not only does it offer classic pieces of jewellery designed by Hagen Stein himself, but it also features unusual designer pieces by Stefanie Dingel, who likes to break the mould when it comes to design. That’s why she was awarded first place in the German Jewellery and Gemstone Awards in 2000 and then again in 2017. The award-winning ‘Aqua Illusion’ ring is now available as a limited edition, in both silver and white gold. Custom-made jewellery is also available upon request. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, even the most difficult repairs and modifications can be made to your jewellery in the H.Stein workshop.
