The first time I looked inside a gemstone with a microscope, my heart beat faster and it was as if I was looking into the cosmos.
This was followed by training as a gemologist, various courses in goldsmithing and gemstone cutting and training in stone healing with Michael Gienger. This enabled me to express my joy in the colors, shapes and radiance of precious - and gemstones.
But the nature of stones remains a secret. The attraction of a simple tumbled stone or a rare, precious gemstone cannot be explained either scientifically or spiritually. You have to touch them, feel them, the stones and the jewelry.
